Home is where the heart is, and it’s also where safety is. We treat our homes like havens from the outside world, but it’s important to always be prepared should the dangers try to intrude.

One of the most common comments we get from community members about home safety is where to start with creating a plan? How do they know what is a good defense plan and what isn’t? To meet this learning need, we offer home defense planning classes!

Home Defense Plan

The Home Defense Plan is a course we give in partnership with USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association). Their goal is to ensure everyone has the knowledge and skills to defend themselves and those around them should the need arise.

This course is aptly named because it focuses solely on designing a practical home defense plan. Our expert instructors give personal guidance to students in this class as they form a home defense plan. They provide you with a comprehensive guide to home security and defense.

This guide includes knowledge of conflict avoidance, situational awareness, the physiology of violent encounters, legality of using deadly force, dealing with the aftermath of a violent situation. Along with the comprehensive guide to defense, we provide you with an exhaustive list of gear and gadgets for all types of defensive training. This includes the basic skills of a handgun, shotgun, and AR-15 along with non-lethal options.

Family Firearm Safety

For those who have kids in the home, we highly recommend our family firearm safety class. This class is designed to be taken as a family unit and guides you and your family through making a safety plan that fits your needs. It will also expose your kids to firearm safety rules and how to deal with firearms both in your home and others.

This class specifically we recommend for parents with kids that spend a lot of time at home or might need safety knowledge elsewhere in their lives. Maybe your kid wants to start babysitting or stays home alone after school waiting for you to get home from work. These are both situations that it is imperative your kid knows the safety plan and how to activate your home defense plan. Make sure the plan is airtight with guidance from our instructors.

Concealed Carry 2: Concealed Carry Weapon

This class is part of our 3-class series for those looking to become CCW certified in the state of Arizona. This non-range class discusses the judgemental and legal use of force, personal ad home protection plans, and non-lethal alternative methods of protection. It also provides a comprehensive guide on protective gear and how to effectively use each item.

The final enticing aspect of this class is the use of our state-of-the-art laser simulator to practice putting your classroom knowledge to the test in shoot/no-shoot scenarios. By putting your instincts to the test we can provide personalized coaching on how best to improve both your reactions and shooting skills.
