Rifle 100: Introduction to Tactical Rifles

The introduction to tactical rifles is a Rifle 100 course offered by C2 Tactical that caters to complete beginners who want to get familiar with rifle shooting and acquire some basic skills. The course training is mostly focused on AK47/74 rifles and military AR15.

This 3-hour long introductory course teaches you the basic history, safety basics, theory and practice of rifle operation, and proper loading and unloading skills. The course consists of 2 hour classroom time and one hour range time. The equipment you’ll need includes a rifle, closed-toe shoes, a rifle magazine, 18 rounds of ammunition, and protection for your eyes and ears.

This course is perfect for complete beginners and serves as a pre-requisite for higher levels courses such as the ones mentioned below:

Rifle 200: Tactical Carbine 1

The tactical carbine 1 course is a Rifle 200 training offered by C2 Tactical.  This course is the first in the series, focused on basic tactical skills focused on close-quarters personal protection through military carbine. This 5-hour course is also a prerequisite for the other more advanced rifle shooting courses. It offers hands-in dry fire practice and live-fire drills, along with one hour of classroom time in the beginning.

The tactical carbine 1 course focuses on shooting safety, tactical shooting positions, malfunctioning clearances, and reloading techniques. Throughout the course, you get practical training via live-fire drills. For this course, you’ll need a rifle with tactical sling, about 70 rounds of ammunition, a dual rifle magazine carrier, three magazines with 20 or 30 rounds, and protection for eyes, ears, and knees.

Tactical Carbine 2

The Tactical Carbine 2 is an advanced-level course, which builds upon the skills acquired in the first course of this series.  This course focuses on developing much more advanced techniques and tactical pistol skills for low-light encounters. The class consists of one-hour classroom instruction followed by four hours in the range.
