Cardboard boxes are typically made up of three layers: corrugated fiberboard (fluted paper) as the outer layer, linerboard as the middle layer, and a mixture of fiberglass and clay in between. When recycled, corrugated fiberboard becomes cardboard boxes again. The same goes for liner board, which becomes more sheets of paper; and foam board becomes more foam board.
