Custom Dimensional Lettering Exterior Signage for CK Power

Recently, we were contacted by CK Power, The Complete Source for Engine and Generator Power.

Right in the middle of Lenexa’s Business district, CK Power operates a warehouse off of Lakeview Ave. Though it is a warehouse, it is anything but what that word implies.  It is open to the public and they wanted a new store front for their new building.  The idea behind the face lift?  To be more inviting to the public.

Exterior Before

Their store front and operating warehouse is massive. But, we weren’t going to let the kind people at CK Power down. At Forerunner Signs & Graphics, we love to understand our partners’ signage needs and deliver exceptional solutions. Visual identity and branding is kind of our thing; this is why CK Power came to the professionals!

First, we were invited to conduct a site survey, which consisted of a short meet and greet and then the creativity was left to us. We took some measurements and then we were off and running!

With a large façade to work with, we chose to keep it simple. However, we wanted to make a huge impact for their surroundings. We achieved this by using CK Power’s vector logo and created a usable file to cut out painted acrylic to match their company colors. The pictures really do not do it justice. The individual letters are more than 2 ft tall each, stud mounted to the brick wall.  We wanted to ensure that they are secure and adhered to the wall so that they don’t go anywhere. In its entirety, the Dimensional Lettering pans over 16 ft of their wall, and really helps bring their building to life.

Exterior Completed

CK Power is not just another building in a business district that will get looked over. Now, if you look at this building, you are going to notice the huge sign on the wall inviting you to come in and take a peek.
