About a month ago, we were contacted by the committee for a boy scout troop looking to make their sons’ boy scouts experience something special. They were looking to brand their camping trailer, and put up a flag sized banner with their troop logo and the boy scouts logo on it.

Above are the photos of the trailer with the graphics on it. Imagine the impact these graphics are going to have on these kids seeing that and the sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves. They belong to the troop, and that means something. What a fun project, that turned out really great.

The boy scouts troop that approached us is just your ordinary troop that was looking to make their time together in the troop more meaningful and fun for their kids. One of the dads created the logo, we acquired the boy scouts logo from their website and then put it all together.

To create the graphics, we used an IJ35C intermediate vinyl. If there were any rivets or obstructing pieces where the graphics were mounted, we would’ve had to use a cast vinyl able to stretch and flex as needed. This saved the troops quite a bit of money. We then laminated it to provide weatherproof durability and applied it. For the banner we used standard 13 oz. banner material and applied power tape to secure the hems with added strength for multiple extended outdoor uses.

Adding graphics or a nice troop or team logo can really help create the special and memorable childhood you want your child to have. A simple banner and decorating a trailer dedicated to its events, branding the vests, bags, jerseys, tent canopies all help to add to that overall experience.
