Kansas City, MO – Exterior LED illuminated channel letters and monument inserts for U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting

Recently we were contacted by U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting to do their external signage for a new location in Kansas City, Missouri. This included monument sign translucent graphics, banners, channel letters, and a logo box. This article covers the project and pictures of the finished goods.

The first picture is the LED illuminated channel letters on raceways and sign cabinet for the logo flag covered in translucent printed vinyl. The second picture is the print/cut translucent vinyl for the monument sign insert. These together create a very professional and cohesive feel for their new store.

These stores help guide people down the path to serving, and the men and women who choose to serve in the Coast Guard do so for a variety of reasons. The Coast Guard offers a series of benefits ranging from competitive pay and education assistance to insurance and retirement benefits. A broad range of skills are learned through schools and job training, and leadership opportunities are numerous. Beyond these tangible benefits, most Coast Guard members agree that the greatest benefit is the opportunity to serve their country, state and community.

This all started with conceptual renderings and moved towards production. Print/cut translucent vinyl on acrylic faces in aluminum cans. Mounted into the face of the building with toggles and wired up to bring the LEDs to life.

This sign is very high contrast and draws a lot of attention to the area. Especially at night when the LEDs shine. The LEDs draw far less power than conventional bulbs saving money in the long run for everyone.
