Leawood, KS – Channel Letter Wall Sign for Schabel Performance Health & Wellness

Posted in: Industry News

A connection that came through our local Leawood Chamber, Nick and Larisa with Schabel Performance and Wellness Schabel_Exteriorcame to us for signs to go up in their new location. They reached out to us just weeks before their grand opening for a channel letter design exterior sign to go above the storefront.

In the images here, you can see the picture of the painted and mounted channel letter sign we made for Schabel Performance Health and Wellness. In this photo you can see how channel letters can work for any name, regardless of the length. They can also be custom painted to match any color or building scheme that might be needed, as was our situation here with Schabel.Schabel_Ribbon Cut

Schabel Performance Health and Wellness in Leawood, KS is a great local company that is redefining chiropractic services for the Greater Kansas City area. They specialize in sports medicine and rehab, family chiropractic care, pregnancy and pediatrics. If you live in the Kansas City area and are looking for a Chiropractor, consider setting up an appointment with Schabel.

To create the sign for Schabel Performance Health and Wellness, we used .080 aluminum painted 6” channel letters centered on the storefront banner. In Leawood, only 5% of the wall facad is allowed, whereas some cities may have 10% or 20% available to businesses. This sign came to a total of 11.8 square feet which landed well within the 5% requirement of the city and consistent with the Landlord’s lease agreement requirements.

When installing channel letters into buildings, like we did for Schabel, it’s important to gather all of the necessary information. What is the material that you’re drilling into? If it’s drywall, or siding, we will need to make sure there are structural supports for the sign load. If the channel letters are lit, do you need to use a raceway for electrical? Do you need more than one? Check with your landlord first and give us a call to help you find these things out.

If you are opening a new location for your business, or would like more information about channel letters, exterior signage, or the project you are working on, give the Forerunner team a call.
