Black Dirt Window Graphics – a Tasty Endeavor

Posted in: Recent Projects

We were excited to get the call from Outlook Creative LLC to install window graphics to a new store in Kansas City – Black Dirt.

First, we cleaned the windows so that we could Install the Graphics.  We used the 3M IJ40C with Gloss Laminate for the installation to 18 storefront windows.  And when they said they needed a ‘quick turnaround’, they weren’t kidding!  We completed the project in one day!

Soon, Kansas City diners can get reservations at Chef Jonathan Justus’ 5,000-square-foot Black Dirt at 5070 Main St., with decor that includes a chandelier made out of the root of a huge hackberry tree.

But if your stomach is rumbling with anticipation, you can get a first taste of Black Dirt by ordering off the patio/bar menu at Justus Drugstore at 106 W. Main St. in Smithville.

At the new restaurant, Justus is aiming for the sort of dishes that have made his first restaurant a destination dining experience. But the jump to a space with 143 seats inside and 28 on patio (compared to the Drugstore’s total of 92 seats) has required minimizing the menu, but not the quality of ingredients.

We were honored to be a part of Chef Justus’ expansion and look forward to visiting his new restaurant.  If your business is in need of window graphics, contact the experts at Forerunner Signs & Graphics!
