What Spa Equipment Repair Services does The Pool Doctor Offer?

Posted in: Industry News

If you’re wondering what spa equipment repair services does The Pool Doctor offer, wonder no more!

Unlike some other spa companies who are only comfortable working on one or two spa models, The Pool Doctor does not care what kind of spa you have.  If it has mechanical parts, then we can work on it.  Some of our spa services include:

  • Pumps, Filters, Heaters – if you’re having issues with any of these pieces of equipment, we can come out and determine what the problem is.  Quite often it just requires a part that we have on our truck stock and we can fix it in one call.  Otherwise, we’ll quote you how much to continue after our first visit.
  • Lights – we can replace bulbs for most spa lighting, unless the bulb is no longer manufactured.
  • Electrical/Bonding – our license allows us to perform any electrical work from the main panel back to the spa equipment.  We are extremely proficient in the code requirements.  For instance, did you know according to California State law, you are required to have a spa shut off located within a minimum of 5 feet or a maximum of 24 feet in the line of sight of your spa?  And, it MUST be Ground Fault Protected.  If your spa is not set up like this, then you should consider having it done asap for the safety of all your bathers.
  • Plumbing – if your spa has plumbing (i.e., not self contained), then we can repair leaks in the system.
  • Tub Leaks – if you have a leak in the body of your tub, chances are it is not repairable.  You can pay us to come out and determine if it is or not.
  • Jets – just as with leaks, some jet repairs are possible, others are not.  We must visit the spa to determine what your situation is.
  • Ozonators – we install and repair all types of ozonators.  These units are a great non-chlorine method of sanitizing your spa.
