Oakland, CA- The Principles of the Harvest: Laws of Sowing & Reaping-Hypnotherapy, East Bay, CA

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.” Robert Louis Stevenson. This means that you may not finish the day by achieving all of your goals, but you’re moving the process along in a successful direction.

In order to succeed in your own personal harvest, formulate a goal, whether it’s a personal goal or a career goal. Plant some seeds or items to make your garden (harvest) of success grow.  While this first applied to farming, this analogy/metaphor works with everything from raising a family to career goals to losing weight.

No matter what your goal, patience is key. You need time to plant and sow the seeds (ideas) and tend to them and adjust them. You can take the old mantra and apply it to your everyday life :

– You will reap what you sow
– You will reap more than you sow

These are some examples:

  • Study and create a business proposal until the right time to present it.
  • Learn better leadership skills with your team.
  • Show compassion and understanding along with logic and reasoning.
  • Send business or job inquires out daily.
  • Reach out to new contacts and learned new ideas.
  • Limited the time spend on addicting social media.

“What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action.” Mesiter Eckhartall. However, sometimes, no matter how hard we try, challenges arise. Failure is also feedback. It takes perseverance to pick ourselves up, re-evaluate our goals and keep moving forward. Review our “Why” as Simon Sinek so inspires us to do.

The Good News! Fall is the perfect time to analyze and contemplate our goals and observe our harvests. Q? Did you reap the harvest you wanted this year? Q. What we’ll do differently next year? I believe 2020 is going to be a great year to welcome in new, resourceful habits and beliefs. The truth is, every new day is a new opportunity. Carpe Diem!
