Local Center Offers Facility Bookings for Parties

Finding a space to host a party that can meet the unique needs for your desired event and your guests can be challenging. No matter the purpose, occasion, or number of attendees, we have a great space for you at our Spiritual Center located in Oakland.

Our community members comprise people who want to grow and expand individually and collectively as loving, spiritual beings. We pride ourselves on welcoming others. No matter your background or beliefs, we would love to have you try one of our Sunday services or consider our facility for hosting special events of all kinds.  Many people have done just that over the years.

In this article, we describe our facility booking services and answer common questions we get from people seeking to use our space.

Do I Have To Be A Member?

Not at all. While many of our members have used our facilities over the years, we are also open to the public. Members do receive a discount on facility usage, but we welcome people of any and all faiths as well as people who have no faith tradition or practice at all.

What Spaces Do You Have Available?

We have hosted large parties with over 100 guests, small gatherings among friends, and everything between. Our facility has several spaces of different sizes available for parties, and we can help select the right one for your needs. Our largest space is our social hall. This space is versatile and encompasses over 2,000 square feet. It features high ceilings, hardwood floors, and the ability to be customized to fit the look and feel of any party. We also have a lovely courtyard that can be used for outdoor seating in good weather.

Do You Have Audio/Video Capabilities?

Many people want to incorporate music and/or video in some way with their party. Luckily, we have several spaces with excellent audio and video equipment. We also have people on staff with the technical knowledge to help ensure everything looks and sounds perfect.

Can Someone Assist with Party Planning?

We understand some people might have little or no experience with party planning, and we’re here to help. Our events coordinator is available to assist with any planning needs you have.

Can Your Facility Accommodate My Needs?

Not only do we have different sizes and kinds of spaces, we also have a parking lot that accommodates 100 cars well off the street. We are also very conveniently located and can be reached via Hwy 24 and Hwy. 13. Oh, and did we mention that we even have a commercial kitchen that any caterer would love to use?
