Winter Weather Forecast – How this could affect Nashville’s christmas light installation season?

Posted in: Industry News

It may still feel like summer in Nashville, but here at Christmas Light Pros TN, we’ve always got winter on the brain. We’ve been keeping track of weather forecasts for the 2014 season and wanted to share with you some of the predictions we’re hearing from our weather experts.

We don’t know about you, but we’ve heard a lot of folks worry that the cooler than average temperatures this summer bode for a colder than average winter. But the weather folks are predicting a mixed bag. This year we’re likely to feel the effects of El Nino, which is a weather pattern that comes about once every 4 years. This could lead to more severe weather that shifts from week to week, with some warm days, followed by a snow storm the next week!

They’re expecting the snowiest periods to occur from mid December through early January. Is it possible we could even have a white Christmas?

With all that uncertainty, it’s especially important to get your plans for outdoor holiday lighting locked in. We’ve already scheduled many of our commercial clients’ installations, and we’d love to meet with you to discuss your lighting needs. We operate primarily in and around Brentwood, Franklin, Forest Hills, Green Hills and Belle Meade, but we’re always happy to bring beautiful, professional lighting to your area.
