Modesto, CA – An Updated Sign Package for Mayfield Animal Shelter

The Mayfield Animal Shelter has an important role, providing animal services in Modesto, Ceres, Patterson, Waterford, and Hughson. They contacted us with a request — they needed signage that was clear and easy to understand, while creating a friendly and cohesive look to ensure that visitors could access services without issue. We worked with some of their existing signage, refreshing it with new vinyl lettering, and created brand new signage products to go along.

The Thomas W Mayfield Regional Animal Service Center is a vital facility, providing all of the services and information needed for humane and responsible care of animals, including adoption services, clinics and pet care, and protecting public and animal safety in many ways. This shelter is committed to service in its communities, and having a friendly, accessible building to provide that is important. We were proud to work with the shelter in making that a reality.

We began our work with the shelter by fulfilling the quote request. We do this by visiting the space, taking photos, examining existing signage, and asking questions about important details like budget, branding, and time constraints. Our goal is always to create a perfectly tailored custom sign package, and we get the information we need for our design and quote by gathering this information first. Our designes worked with an existing post and panel sign made out of acrylic, using it to feature new cut vinyl graphics for directional signage. We also designed, created, and installed several other signs, including an

aluminum and vinyl overlay “Animal Drop Off” sign, acrylic room signs mounted to the wall, and business hours for the door, printed in vinyl for easy, yet durable application. As you can see in the photo, the signs are informational, attractive, and friendly, creating a great impression on shelter visitors and assisting in accessibility.
