Modesto, CA – Updating Sign Face for Unique Boutiques

We got a call last month from a retail store asking if we could fix their building sign. The store is owned by Unique Boutiques. They are based in Modesto, so we said we’d swing by and take a look. The folks there were real friendly and said they’d rather upcycle what they had instead of forking out for a new sign. We told them sign refurbishment

was part of our service and all the existing sign needed was a new face. The staff was delighted we could help out this way and also asked us to replace four tenant panels on their monument sign.

You can see the renewed building sign in the photo. We got the color branding just right and the folks at Unique Boutiques were pleased with what we did. The typewriter font helps give an old-time feel to the sign, which is ideal for a store specializing in vintage home decor.

This stuff is tough: it’s impossible to break it with asledgehammer. It was also overlaid with a fine 8518 overlaminate, which prevents fading.

We cut out an 82” by 132 ⅛” size for the building sign, and four 20 ½” by 65 ½” pieces for the tenant panels. It was a simple job for our installers to fit the sign face and tenant panels into place.
