CA, Modesto – Illuminated Cabinet and LED Display Board for Capistrano Elementary

A few weeks ago, we received a call from the Capistrano Elementary School, located in Modesto, CA. What they were looking for was a new sign for the outside of their school. The sign would display needed information as well as say the name of the school. There were a variety of options available to them, but we recommended a new illuminated cabinet sign with an LED display board.

As you can see, the results were great. The cabinet sign fits nicely on the white wall outside the main entrance. The top portion of the sign shows the name of the school in large, neat lettering and the school logo is displayed to the left. The lower portion of the sign is the LED display board and all important school information can be displayed there easily.

The Capistrano Elementary School is part of the Empire Union Elementary School District and houses students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The dedicated staff shares one purpose: to provide a rigorous academic education in a safe learning environment for all of their students. They understand that with the right skills, knowledge, and attitudes for success, each child can have a good life.

The new LED display board was to be mounted on the white exterior wall outside of the main entrance. The sign cabinet is 12” deep aluminum, and it was painted black to match. The letters were white acrylic with vinyl overlays and the graphics were printed on 3M translucent with 8519 laminate. The LED board is an Xtreme-16, 40 x 160-1R1G1B. The display board size is 8′ 4.7” x 2′ 1.1”. The board is 16mm and is full color as well as dimmable. Hardwired, it is controlled by the time clock.

The people at Capistrano Elementary School really liked the idea of the LED display board, where any message could be seen there. Full color and dimmable, signs like these are easy to read and can be operated by anyone.
