Milwaukee, WI – Business, Life, & Career Advice from a Local Executive Coach

Posted in: Industry News

Success in entrepreneurship hinges on living harmoniously – you must equally prioritize improving your career and overall quality of life for sustainable growth, success, and personal fulfillment. I am passionate about my clients reaching and exceeding their potential in leading successful businesses while leading quality lives.

Develop Good Habits

Developing new habits is an ongoing responsibility of all adults: commit to adopting them in all areas of your life – finances, health, personal relationship management, and career – to improve your overall quality of life.

When starting an entrepreneurial career, for example, it is critical to ask: “What one skill, if I developed and did it excellently, would have the greatest positive impact on my career?” That answer becomes a goal where you will set a deadline and begin pursuing its achievement.

Create a Daily Life, Business, and Career Activity Schedule

Pick an activity you can do each day that would be most helpful to you in achieving your most important goal, then maintain focus by thinking of the purpose of that goal and the results you want to achieve. For example, remind yourself:

  • What is the most valuable use of my time right now?
  • What are things only I can do and provide to others that will make a difference?
  • What was I hired to accomplish in my position?

Continually Upgrade Your Business Knowledge and Skills

Seek knowledge or learn a new skill to improve yourself and achieve your goals. In business, what skills will make you more valuable and marketable? There are four significant ways to stand out in the market:

  • Specialization: what is your talent, and how can you channel them into a vital area of measurable importance and value to your company and customers?
  • Differentiation: what about your work sets you apart from others? Your ability to differentiate yourself based on producing high-quality work is critical to success in your career.
  • Segmentation: Identify your most important customer clearly – who benefits the quickest from your services – and focus on satisfying them the most.
  • Concentration: Identify your specific market segment and provide services and products for those people or organizations.

Identifying and developing these skills will take yourself and your business to the next level.

Commit to Action

Create a plan of action to identify your next step. Commit to taking action in pursuit of your goals.

No Limited Thinking

You can achieve what you want when you have clarity about who you are and what you want, then take responsible action. There are more than 100,000 job categories in the U.S. alone.

You can book a consultation with me for individualized coaching to level up personally and professionally. If personal challenges are interfering with your professional success, I will assist you in overcoming them and getting you back on track.
