Custom Acrylic Lobby Sign for Mortgage Services Inc. in Pewaukee, Wisconsin

When our customers come to us and ask us to help them move their office signage, we are often amazed at how little creativity exists in the interior signage industry.  Simple wall designs that say nothing about the company other than the name, make us crazy. We make sure that our designs stand out and reflect the professionalism of the companies we work for. When Mortgage Services III asked us to assist, they had a blank slate to work with.  The new location had great potential.

We toured the new facility and photographed all the potential areas that MSI’s customers might be looking for direction.  We laid out the floor plan and placed the necessary signs accordingly.  Our graphic artist dropped our designs into the photos so that our customer could see an exact representation of what the finished product would look like.  The first spot was a hallway outside the main door.  At just under 14′, the hallway was a perfect location for an acrylic mounted sign.  We used 1/2″ polished acrylic with flamed edges. This gives the look that the material is thicker than it really is. It also gives a very nice finished edge.  We also applied frosted glass vinyl to the back of the sign.  By doing so when you look at the sign,  all you notice is the company’s name and not the wall behind it.  We also reproduced the customers logo and applied it to the front of the sign to finish the look. Everything around the hall was a shade of beige so we decided to use brushed aluminum standoffs. The contrast helps focus the viewers eye on the company name.
