IMG_1607It’s Friday afternoon and you are driving back to the office when you see sitting on the lot of a truck dealer an almost brand new trailer. So you stop to look at it knowing full well that the dealer is going to want an arm, a leg and possibly two of your kids for the trailer.  Low and behold, the guy wants almost nothing for it as he took it in trade and it’s just taking up space on his lot.  Buy it!  You know what would be really cool? If we could get it decaled and on the job site tomorrow morning. Where could we go that they could do this? Let’s call Optimum Signs and see if they would do it.  The time is 12:45pm when this conversation took place as the owner was driving back from Wausau with his new trailer.

We are always up for a challenge and this is about par for the course as we seem to get lots of calls on Friday afternoon from companies that their existing sign company didn’t deliver.  It was a little different with the trailer as the company that they were using had just gone through a major downsizing and wasn’t able to help..  So we jumped at the chance to show why more and more companies are using Optimum Signs.  Our designer jumped on the phone with Wisconsin Commercial Roofing’s office to get the logo and details as to what they wanted on the trailer.  We figured we had about an hour to produce a proof, print, laminate, cut and tape graphics for a 30′ trailer. No problem.  Did I mention that it was now 1:30?  On a Friday?  The trailer showed up a few minutes later and everyone went to work.  We had four of our people working on the table to weed the vinyl. Even the boss got into the action!  We started to remove all the screws that hold the aluminum plates to the frame of the trailer so we could apply the vinyl to a smooth surface.  This also prevents tenting over the screws.  We spent the better part of an hour measuring the trailer to ensure that the graphics were in the right place and each side matched.  The vinyl went on very nicely and after a few hours we were able to deliver a completed trailer that matched our customers expectations.

This is another example of how Optimum Signs goes above and beyond for our customers.  If you have a construction trailer that would make a great advertisement for your business, please call us at Optimum Signs. We can be reached at 262.289.9481 or emailed at info@optimumsignswi.com.
