  When Dr. Allison Troutman made the decision to open her own holistic veterinary clinic, most people would have wondered what exactly is holistic veterinary services. I have to admit, I have never heard of it.   It turns out that there is a dramatic paradigm shift occurring in the animal health care world. This new paradigm, which is called Integrative Medicine, takes a more holistic approach to the treatment of animal disorders than the present traditional medical model which focuses mainly on pharmacological solutions. Dr. Troutman is really on the cutting edge of animal medicine.

Dr. Troutman contacted us and asked if we could help her with the new clinic.  Her shopping list was rather long but she knew what she wanted. We started with the monument sign that resides on Capital Drive. The sign was in real bad shape. The faces of the sign were warped and cracked and the address numbers were falling off. The gold finished metal was oxidized and pock marked. Not exactly the first image you want your customers to see.  Upon inspection, we realized that this wasn’t a stone structure at all, but was a high density foam product.  Foam monument signs are a very economical option that will look good for years with almost no upkeep. I did say almost no upkeep.  This one was in rough shape as the faces of the sign had been caulked many years ago. Since then, the caulk had cracked and pulled away from the sides of the sign exposing the inside of the sign to great amounts of water.   Even foam will decay if you add enough weather.  Water had settled inside the sign and had caused mold and rot on the faces of the sign.   We decided to strip the current faces out of the sign and replace them with a new alumi-cor product with printed faces.  We laminated the faces to ensure that this sign will look great for years to come.  We also used silicon caulk to seal the edges.
