Custom Trade Show Display with Updated Graphics for Great Day Improvements Milwaukee, WI

FullSizeRender    Great Day Improvements spends a good deal of time at trade shows so much so that their displays are constantly getting beaten up.  After a few months, the graphics looked tired and had multiple dents showing through the graphics. Not exactly the image you want potential customers to see.  So here’s what Optimum Signs did.

We noticed that the dents in the graphics shouldn’t have been there.  They looked like someone brushed up against the corner of a wall or maybe the corner of a box. This didn’t make sense as the signs were mounted to PVC. One of the great features of PVC is that it is for the most part impact resistant, even the 3 mil thickness.  The brand name product, Sintra, handles beautifully and provides a substrate that wears very well.  We decided to check out other companies PVC offering and we learned a lot.  Of the three products we tested, all three were prone to showing dents and indentations from handling the product! We were able to leave imprints from our fingers with little effort.  We also took the product and ran a pencil across the surface and the pencil left a deep indent.  We then did the exact same tests with the brand name.  Nothing happened. Not an imprint, not a dent, not an anything.  The Sintra was unscarred.  We proceeded to print the graphics on our HP 360 Latex printer and laminat with 3M film to add a level of protection and to make sure that the signs look great.  One of the many features of the latex printer is that the ink is scratch resistant. Adding the laminate was just another level of protection so our customer didn’t have to change the signs out until they wanted to.

When we produced the replacement signs for the displays our customer was really impressed because the material wasn’t fragile and didn’t scar. They were actually able to handle it without concern to leaving impressions on the surface of the material.  They also liked that the graphics were so crisp and clean. Imagine that, the sign looked just like the graphics! This shouldn’t be a minimum threshold. With Optimum Signs we produce the highest quality signage at a fair price.
