When we began working with Custom Edge Construction, we could tell we were working with a true professional. The owner, Marcus Jonas, specializes in remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and additions of exceptional quality and craftsmanship.  We knew that his custom yard signs had to reflect his level of quality and workmanship.

We started with a flat black background printed on 3M IJ35C with air release mounted on a standard aluminum slug. This material was perfect to hold the deep black color. We then crafted Marcus’ logo out of Avery Silver Metallic wrapping film (SW900-803-M).  The Avery product provided a very dramatic difference between the deep black background. The metallic finish was distinctive and really helped the logo stand out.  By laminating the finished product, we prevent the weather from causing the sign to fade, crack or peel.  This is where Marcus took over.  He built the frame out of cedar because it wears better and doesn’t warp like pressure treated lumber does.  The end caps finish off the look.  This is how you finish a sign that needs to look distinctive and reflect an image of true craftsmanship.
