  Ah yes. Our friends at Transfer Pizza have had us design, print and install graphics on all four of their delivery vehicles going back almost  years!  Each vehicle is slightly different and required us to make slight variations to make the graphics work.

When we started working for Transfer Pizza, they really didn’t have a design for their delivery vehicle. Russell, the owner, had some ideas but didn’t know how to take his ideas and turn them into a graphics package that got peoples attention.  We started by talking with Russell at length about what he wanted to do with the design.  What exactly was he trying to message his customers and those that see the vehicle?  Is there a color scheme he prefers? Then we started working on the design.  Between Russell and our designers we came up with a great design that allows us to alter the colors based on the color of the car.  We also have a design that is consistent across all the different types and styles of cars. This one was the first grey car.  We decided on using the bright yellow for the accent pieces and the name because Russell really likes high contrast.  As you can see, the yellow really does stand out.  The stripe, well, that’s another story.  You see, when a stripe runs from front to back, the vinyl stripe is not a flat stripe.  As a matter of fact, the stripe moves from high to low as you move from the front of the car to the back.  This stripe even though it is only 6′ long rises almost 6″! If you look at the stripe after it’s printed, it looks ridiculous.  How can a stripe that looks almost like a horseshoe appear flat on the car?  Well it does and it looks perfectly level.  Just another reason to work with Optimum Signs as we know all the step necessary to make your graphics package looks great.

One of the last additions to the package is the logo added to the top of the vehicle.  Because of Covid, Russell’s delivery business has taken off and he is delivering a huge amount of food into downtown Milwaukee,  and a large number of people are located in the office buildings. Now, when people look out the window they see the logo for Transfer Pizza.
