  When you buy a custom made package locker system most companies expect to get some type of design recommendations from the manufacturer, right? Not so much. The manufacturer shipped a generic print with their name all over the print.  No mention of the University anywhere.  So one of the design students jumped online to see if there was any company that designed, printed, and installed custom wraps for locker systems. That is where they found Optimum Signs.  This was our 50+ system that we designed, printed and installed across the country.

When we started working with Loyola Marymount University, they had a number of ideas how they wanted to customize the faces of the locker system.  Designs ranged from shapes and colors to the above design.  We provided proofs of each of the designs so that the university could see exactly what the designs would look like and as soon as they saw the above design, they knew they had the right one.  The university was able to provide exact colors needed for this design which made the printing process that much easier.  The most difficult part of this print was getting the exact dimensions of the locker system and the location of the control module.  We always make sure we know where the hardware is located so when we remove the vinyl we aren’t removing vital design work or information.  So now you ask how does a company located in Wisconsin handle an install in Los Angles? We are a part of a nationwide association of sign companies that partner together for this exact reason. We assist each other when we have installations in other markets by providing expert quality installers.  We designed, printed and shipped the wrap all inside of 5 days!

Our installers went to the site to make sure that everything was good to go with the install and they noticed that the humidity in the area was very high.  Like wet walls high.  They decided that once the area was completed, the area would be air conditioned. Just not yet.  So they brought in a heavy duty dehumidifier to run for two days to dry out the area so that the install could go forward without delay.  The graphics showed up a few days later and went out to be installed.  This install took about 5 hours to complete and looks great.
