When our customer showed up with their new van, he had only one request: to create a design that reflected their work.  They specialized in design and rebuild of homes including the addition of four season rooms.  They also provided permit services where they would work with the municipality to secure the proper building permits.

We started by setting up a file sharing site so our customer could upload a ton of pictures of their work.  After a couple of days, they had uploaded about 100 pictures for us to pour over.  My team spent several hours going through every picture to find just the right one.  The team came up with three pictures that they thought would work.  We  then did a layout using each of the three pictures and it was unanimous which picture looked best.  The color image was shot looking into a living room/four seasons room that they had built for a customer in Fox Point.  The picture had bright, brilliant colors.  The only issue was that our customer didn’t want “all that color”.  So we did what we do, we changed the picture into a black and white image.  This was fun to watch the process.  Because we needed a high quality image so that the picture didn’t pixilate and breakdown, we had to run the image through a number of processes to make the image black and white.  Each process changed the image. The first process removed all the reds, the second all the yellow tones.  Once we completed the changeover, we had an image that looked really sharp.  Believe it or not, now came the hard part.  With most commercial printers there are two colors that make operators nervous: fluorescent green and gradient grey. This is a whole lot of grey.  As the prints came off the printer, we watched very closely.  Every tile looked just like the prior print.  This was now getting exciting.  But will the greys match up when placed side by side? They did. Perfectly.  When we installed the wrap, it was really impressive how exact the printer reproduced the colors.

The installation went perfectly as well with each tile lining up with the prior.  It was beautiful to watch as this project went from concept to installation.  If you need help with a wrap or many wraps, please give us a call.
