Milwaukee, WI – Custom Sign Package for National Chain Champs Sports with Push Through Acrylic Entrance Sign

We do an incredible amount of work for other sign companies.  Local and national, we work with them all.  One of our long term customers has the national contract with Champs Sports so when they decide to open a new store, they come to us.  When they contacted us about the install, we had only done repair work for the company.  Now they needed us to take over the installations in our area.   The request was simple – please install the signs according to the plan and in accordance with normal construction guidelines. Doesn’t seem too terribly difficult.

Champs has been around for a number of years because they specialize in branded team apparel.  Professional basketball, football, college teams and special releases.  From hats to jerseys, shoes to jackets, they carry most professional and collegiate team’s apparel.  And if they don’t stock it, they have an online presence that covers anything else.

They decided on a number of high-end signs for their stores.  The custom cut acrylic that adorns the wall behind the cash counters is all mounted on individual studs drilled through a brick façade.  The look is very impressive.  The exterior sign over the entrance from the mall is a push through acrylic sign that uses a custom shaped aluminum cabinet. We then cut out the opposite image of the acrylic that is then “pushed through” the face of the sign.  When you add LED lights, the look of this sign is both very professional and artistic. I wish more companies chose this style sign.   We also added the company’s logo done in etched glass along the front of the store. This adds some depth to the front of the store but it also is there so that people don’t try walking through the glass. Yes, we had someone try that and it didn’t end well.
