Mary Jane’s CBD Dispensary – 5 Common Misconceptions About Full Spectrum CBD

Posted in: Industry News

There are many misconceptions about Full Spectrum CBD. Misinformation is everywhere and it can be difficult to know what to believe. This blog post will help you better understand the 5 most common misconceptions about Full Spectrum CBD so that your decision-making process is easier and more informed.

Misconception # 1: The use of CBD is illegal

CBD is legal in all 50 states, however, it will depend on the product that you are using. The FDA does not regulate CBD products like they do with medications.

The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 turned out to be a landmark piece of legislation. The new language for the Controlled Substances acts changed hemp from being regulated as Schedule I to exclude “hemp” – plant material containing less than 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis and CBD preparations with an individual cannabinoid content below 1%. Now, this doesn’t mean you don’t need any additional permission or registrations; it simply means there are no restrictions other than those imposed by whatever law may regulate where scientific research can take place (in most cases these laws cross state lines).

The Drug Enforcement Administration recently released a statement about CBD, but it’s not clear what the laws in each state say. In some places, there are explicit restrictions on the retail sale of hemp-based products while other states lack any prohibition against its sale at all–with reasoning for exemption depending upon where you live.

Misconception # 2: Full Spectrum CBD only helps with pain relief

Full Spectrum CBD has a whole list of benefits, and pain relief is just one of them. This misconception often comes from those who have only been exposed to the Full Spectrum CBD oil that gets pulled out of hemp plants by using harmful chemicals.

Misconception # 3: Full Spectrum CBD is that it can’t be used as a daily supplement because THC levels won’t show up on drug tests

In fact, most products with less than 0.03% THC can pass any drug test so long as they meet certain guidelines which we will go over in another post! The amount of THC required for failing a drug screen is far beyond what you would find even in high-quality Full Spectrum CBD oils and isolates alike (which are always tested to ensure they contain 0% THC).

Misconception #4: A person definitely needs a prescription for Full Spectrum CBD is a common misconception

Most people who use Full Spectrum CBD products do not have a prescription.

Misconception # 5: Full Spectrum CBD is not as effective as high-quality hemp oil

The quality of the product you are using will make a huge difference in how well it works at helping your body, and that goes for any type of supplement or medicine. Misinformation on the internet spreads fast which makes this misconception even more common. If you’re considering purchasing a Full Spectrum CBD product, be sure to research where they source their hemp from because some brands over-cut costs by harvesting from unregulated farms overseas with little oversight! There are so many benefits associated with using Full Spectrum CBD products including relief from pain, anxiety & stress reduction, increased energy levels, and mood stabilization. It has been shown to reduce inflammation throughout the entire body, which is one of the main reasons it has been shown to help so many different conditions.

It’s understandable that misconceptions about CBD abound. As you can see, there are many common beliefs out there that aren’t true at all.
