 This project was different that some of our other recent sign projects in Toronto because the client had little to no knowledge about what type of sign he wanted or what signage would work for his retail food business. So, we spent a considerable amount of time discussing all the different options available when it came to designing and installing signage for a food booth in a retail mall.

Firstly, the client wanted an eye-catching sign that would attract customers. As a new food vendor in a busy mall with lots of other food options, he wanted to make sure his retail sushi booth stood out. Secondly the real estate for signage was limited because he didn’t have a traditional storefront but wanted the company name and logo clearly displayed. As a startup, he was also very price conscious and didn’t want to spend a ton of money on signage.

Finally, the decision was made to have the main sign completed in laser cut black acrylic 3 dimensional letters and have it installed on the two opposing ends of the booth for maximum visibility.  The logo was created with print and cut vinyl and installed along with the three-dimensional sign. For some extra pizzazz we also decided to add some decals to the booth to really make the logo pop and promote brand recognition.
