Toronto, ON – Creating and Installing signs for a Restaurant Franchise

Posted in: Industry News

The restaurant franchise business is a competitive one where brand image and signage that stands out is critical. When Centrale Bergham, a Montreal based restaurant franchise contacted us to work with them on their first store on Queen Street West in Toronto, we knew this was going to be an exciting and fun project for us.

We started with meeting the design team to discuss the different signage needs and of course the first signs we created and installed were window graphics to advertise that Bergham was ‘coming soon’ to that location. The window graphics generated interest about the new store and even helped with attracting candidates by including “we’re hiring” as part of the window graphic and also encouraged people to follow them on social media to see when the store was opening.

Next we worked on the exterior storefront sign. In bright orange channel letters, which stayed true to the brand and added a projection sign to allow pedestrians to easily see the store location. The storefront sign and projection sign both looked amazing! The channel letters gave it maximum visibility and helped the Bergham sign stand out among the many signs on Queen Street.

The internal wall graphics were handled next and we had lots of signs to set up, print and weed so we could be ready for opening day. There were many wall decals that showed the different products and a black on white feature wall that was stunning! We also matched the colours perfectly to ensure the brand image was consistent. We added a backlit sign under the cashier’s counter that looked perfect in that space. We wanted to create a vibrant, bright space with plenty of high-quality graphics to make the restaurant inviting to all.  As a final touch we also wrapped the drink cooler, so it was unique and fit in well with the design.

Although there were many signs that were required, we planned the project well and kept within the budget and timeline completing all installations a couple of days prior to the grand opening.

The owner was thrilled with our work and this is the best type of feedback one can get!
