Markham, ON – Overhead building back lit fascia sign for Lids + Laces

Recently we were contacted by our new neighbour, Lids + Laces, to create their new overhead outdoor back lit sign. This company has invented and holds the patent for very cool hats/caps that tighten in the back by laces. It is totally new and revolutionary. They needed a sign for their new office/showroom space to advertise their new location. It needed to stand out when driving by and be easy to spot. We at Made 2 Measure Signworks created their new sign using contrasting black with white font.

In the image to the left, the new sign was created using cut black vinyl laminated to an acrylic piece 16 feet long. It is lit from behind using 4 – 8 foot florescent tube lights. You can see how the new sign stands out from the street, or while driving by. High visibility is very important for most business, especially if they are retail and in a new location.

Lids + Laces have developed a new revolutionary traditional baseball cap. Their hat laces up at the back, just like a sneaker…a “laceback”! How cool is that! They also provide t-shirts and joggers, as well as embroidery. Their cap concept is totally new and innovative! They will soon be seen everywhere!

We started by using high quality black Avery vinyl. We then cut the letters out using our Graphtec cutter and then laminated it to a white acrylic piece. We then removed the existing sign and installed the new Lids + Laces overhead sign.
