What are some things to be concerned with regarding your sign?

Each municipality has its own restrictions and regulations concerning signs. Zoning districts and road frontages also affect what size a sign is allowed to be. For example, Cobb County requires your sign to be no larger than 2 square feet for each linear foot of building frontage. In other words, a building with 20 linear feet of frontage may have no more than 40 square feet of sign. This is measured from the topmost point to the bottommost point and left and right. Take the measurements in feet and multiply them for square footage.
