Picture of Star Waggons Cargo Van Graphics This is a company that creates amazing customized trailer interiors for the entertainment industry, has been updating the graphics on the outside of their vehicles as well. At Iconography Studios, we created a new, contemporary design to apply to many different type of vehicles in their fleet.

Our award-winning design team are all graduates of art school, and have decades of experience in designing graphics to fit 3D applications such as vehicles. We understand the nuances and challenges of designing all types of vehicle wraps for different vehicles. For example, the areas that are best for text placement are different when you consider a cargo van and a prius. We also keep the installation process in mind during the design phase so that what is design on paper actually fits properly when it is applied to the 3D vehicle.

To make things quick and straightforward for both our design team and our clients, we have come up with a successful design process that ensures you will be happy both with the concept and design on paper, as well as with the final product when your wrap is installed on your vehicle. Here’s what you can expect when you work with the vehicle wrap experts at Iconography:

1. Scope and Consultation phase – during this phase we meet with you to discuss the vehicles you plan to wrap, as well as what your goals and objectives are for the wrap. Is your primary focus company branding? Or, perhaps you are wanting to promote a specific product? Or, maybe your intention is to raise awareness about a service or a campaign? We will design your wrap with your goals and objectives in mind. We may also ask you to share with us any existing marketing materials, logo files, and corporate style sheets you have.  Our design team will meet with you over the phone or in person to discuss your project and to develop an initial concept of your wrap.

2. Initial Design phase – during this phase, we will create proofs of your design, showing the layout in a 2D model on paper. You will review the proofs and give our design team feedback. You will have several rounds of changes included in your initial design package so you can rest assured the final design will be to your satisfaction.

3. Once you have approved a final design on paper, we will begin the process of building your vehicle wrap design into the appropriate templates and files so that we can print your vehicle wrap material on one of our large format printers. There are software packages of vehicle wrap templates that exist for most vehicle makes and models. For custom vehicles such as utility trucks or other modified or oversized vehicles, our staff will take detailed measurements and build our own templates so that we can ensure that what gets printed will accurately fit your vehicle. We also maintain our own library of templates based on what we have learned about certain vehicles that we wrap often so that we can provide the absolute best design and fit for your vehicle wrap as possible.

Are you a marketing manager that would like to take advantage of all of that advertising space on your company’s fleet? Interested in a custom designed wrap by Iconography? Or maybe you have a fantastic in-house design team of your own but just need help making sure your design will properly fit your vehicle?
