Signs, Fleet Graphics and Interior Branding Design

Posted in: Industry News

Power Crunch powers their branding by integrating brand graphics onto all types of surfaces including their fleet of vehicles, their indoor and outdoor signage, and the interior design of their corporate headquarter lobby.

Project: Large Format Graphics

Location: Irvine, CA

Client: Power Crunch

1. EXTERIOR SIGNAGE:

Foam and Aluminum Sign Letters and Logo

There are several options for materials to use when fabricating signage, and sometimes the most cost effective and durable option is actually a combination of materials, like we used here. These substantial-looking yet lightweight signs are constructed at the core from a 2″ architectural foam board. The light weight of the foam makes them easier to install than some other type of materials, and the durability of the high density foam provides internal structural integrity. An external layer of aluminum facing is added to the front of the letters and the logo for a smooth, even finish. The edges of the foam letters are then sealed with a stucco spray to deter pests such as birds from picking away at the foam. The combination of the aluminum faces and stucco edges will add years to the life of this sign.  The sign letters and logo are then painted in custom PMS paint colors per company style guide specifications.

2. INTERIOR SIGNAGE:

Lobby Letter Sign

For the interior lobby signage, we used the same type of lightweight architectural foam, and simply painted all surfaces with a smooth, high performance sign paint in custom PMS colors to match the company’s style guide. Foam signs can easily be attached to many types of wall surfaces including concrete, wood, brick and glass, and can be mounted with a combination of adhesives and hardware, depending on the particular situation. This sign was mounted flush to the wall for a super-clean and simple modern look. Other mounting options for  lobby signs include  stand-off hardware that literally allow the letters and logo to “stand off” of the wall, adding dimension to the sign. Lobby signs can also be mounted on top of an acrylic or metal backer, making it easy to move the sign or take it with you if needed.

3. WALL WRAPS:

It has never been easier to truly customize your office space with graphics that incorporate your brand logos, colors,  and other marketing elements.  These custom wall graphics were designed by the client’s marketing department, and then fit into print templates that we provided based on actual measurements of the installation site. Once the graphics were added to the templates, we then built print files specific to our large format digital printers. The graphics were printed onto large rolls of adhesive-backed vinyl material that was then applied directly to the lobby walls. We always allow our prints to dry thoroughly for a day before we finish them with a UV laminate film that protects against minor scratching and fading over time.

Custom Graphic Wall Wraps

Custom wall wraps can be thought of as custom wall paper that can literally be designed into just about any pattern, picture, or graphic that you can imagine. Combine high resolution photographs with text, tag lines and corporate identity items to create larger than life imagery for almost any space. We have applied these custom wraps on walls, window, doors,  floors and even furniture items.

4. FLEET GRAPHICS

Extending your branding on to your fleet of vehicles is one of the most cost effective ways to use your outdoor advertising budget. Not only do vehicle wraps have the lowest cost-per-impression than any other form of outdoor advertising, you are also using an existing asset and turning it into an actual marketing machine! These seven scions are all wrapped to match with custom graphics designed by the client. Our in-house design staff took the client’s design files and then translated those into print layout files to perfectly fit the Scion vehicles.

As with all of our custom fleet graphics, these full vehicle wraps were printed in-house on one of our Roland 6-color large format digital printers onto 3M’s vehicle grade vinyl and finished with a UV laminate to protect against fading and minor scratches. Our in-house installation team of certified installers applied the car wraps with every attention to detail.
