Recently, we were contacted by ABC Insurance Agencies, the branch office located in Longview, TX on Gilmer Road. They gave us a call because the vinyl graphics on their pan face sign was peeling off. The sign was in the direction of the sun all day long. It was very important to use a high end, quality vinyl that could withstand the harsh Texas sun.

In the image to the left, you can see a picture of the newly installed vinyl on the pan face sign.  The picture to the right shows the old, fading and peeling vinyl. The previous vinyl was only up for three years. It is a testament not to opt in for cheaper vinyl if you want your branding to stand up to the hot summers we experience in Texas. You can clearly see the visual impact the freshly install graphics bring. Don’t let your businesses image fade with the rising sun.

ABC Insurance was formed in 1986, and operates in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. ABC had us replace graphics on two pan face signs mounted on their building exterior. To get the job done right we removed the pan faces and brought them back to the shop. We were able to remove the old graphics with a combination of adhesive remover and a heat gun. The old vinyl that we removed was cheap calendared vinyl. It was not the ideal vinyl to use in this scenario. For the replacement vinyl we chose Avery 900 Supercast with a 10 year durability rating. For the red color we went with cardinal red and for blue we chose sultan blue. We wanted to ensure the customer ended up with a quality product that lasted.

It is important to note that your companies branding is everything. Don’t fall into the trap of using cheaper signage products. Your businesses sign for a brick and mortar location is the most important influence you can have on current and prospective customers. It is the first impression they have when pulling into the parking lot. Make a visual impact! Stand out! It separates you from the rest. Especially in a competitive market place.
