Custom Dimensional Lobby Sign for Big Ben Telephone Company – Longview, TX

We received a call from Anna at Big Bend Telephone Company in Alpine, TX. She was looking for an interior sign with dimension and wanted the letters to have a floating effect. It was important to Anna to have the name of the company in individual letters. The company didn’t necessarily have a lobby area, but had a space available in their business office that customers would see when they entered the office.

Big Bend already had a logo design in the correct vector format and once our design team reviewed the file we were able to determine the best course of action. We suggested ¼” acrylic custom painted to match Big Bends brand with ½” spacers to give the custom lobby sign the dimension and floating effect Anna desired. For the logo portion of the interior sign we routed a custom shape from ¼” acrylic. The logo design was then printed on 3M vinyl, laminated and cut with our Graphtec Plotter. From there we applied the graphic to the custom acrylic shape. This was combined with ¼” acrylic letters custom painted for the final product.
