Portland, OR Conference Changes Dates. Hopefully not Photographers.

The photographers at Caught in the Moment Photography are looking forward to doing the conference photography at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon for one our our long standing clients but recently received an inquiry for another event, this one in San Jose, California.  So in doing our due diligence and in looking at their dates online it appears that the dates the client had originally given us for the conference in Portland have changed.

We certainly appreciate when conference and convention meeting planners are so delighted with our services and product that they take our photographers to wherever the conference happens to be meeting on that particular year.  And it is precisely because we want to maintain a good relationship with them that we check on our availability to make sure that we don’t book other events on dates that have either being penciled in in our calendar and already promised for their convention.

Now all we have to do is follow up with a quick phone call to the conference planner to figure out whether the date they had originally given us is the correct one or the date on the website announcing the conference events is the correct one.  Seeing how the attendees for this conference come from all over the world, we are pretty sure that the website will have the correct information since it already has the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon as the conference venue.  We just now have to make sure that their conference photography needs are being met by the photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography!
