Washington DC Association Holds Annual Conference Locally and Hires Photographer

Washington, DC is home to one of the conference and convention clients of the photographers at Caught in the Moment Photography to first hold their annual convention in person following the lifting of the restrictions that prevented so many conferences, conventions and other large gatherings to take place.  Perhaps it is not surprising that this particular client chose the Gaylord Resort at National Harbor in suburban Washington, DC as the venue to hold this firs in-person meeting.  Being in close proximity to the event venue facilitated the transition for the event planners to go from virtual events to in-person events.

Many of the service and amenity providers normally associated with conferences and conventions can be procured locally, and some for example those with trusted service providers still have to be secured remotely.  The photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography are privileged to be counted in the second set, as many national trade associations hire them year over year to be the photography service provider for their national conference or convention.

It is for this reason that the conference and convention photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography were selected to provide the photography services for this client’s first in-person meeting once the restrictions for having large in-person events were lifted.  By having most of the service providers near the national association’s headquarters in Washington, DC the meeting planners could make sure that this first in-person annual meeting would go with as few glitches as possible.

The conference and convention photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography are thankful that this and many other national trade associations hold them in a position of viewing them as trusted partners and in many instances as extensions of their staff so that even though the logistics and event planning still had to take place remotely there was a trust factor that because there is a long relationship between client and service provider, the annual national meeting would go without a hitch.
