Architectural Glass Solutions Installation at Dental Clinic in Dallas

Many businesses these days are opting to upgrade the look and feel of their business facilities with some type of blended design incorporated into the glass on their building doors or windows. This kind of look can achieve semi-transparency for the windows and doors to maintain an open look while also blending images or cut out patterns to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the facility. Architectural Glass Solutions recently undertook a similar project in the Dallas, Texas area for one of our beloved clients, ArchPoint Implant Dentistry, who wanted work done for a glass signage and design for their windows and doors on their building.

What they wanted

So, here are the specific details of what ArchPoint Implant Dentistry wanted for this graphic installation job. They contacted our company requesting a more contemporary look for their main entrance, observatory and operating rooms. The entry was an all glass area. There were several other framed areas within the dental clinic building that were framed with glass as well, including the operating rooms and observatory where they wanted to improve the design of the space. Once we evaluated the rooms and the amount of glass involved, we knew what product would best serve ArchPoint Implant Dentistry’s needs: frost film with a cut out design over the glass areas.

Frost Film with Cut Out Design

Frost film products are unique, but gaining wide popularity from all types of businesses, but especially those with waiting areas such as real estate firms, law offices, dental clinics and hospitals. The frost film helps achieve that elegant look for these companies that need a feeling of confidentiality but also an open welcome to their place of business for the customers, clients or patients. The cut out designs consist of shapes that appeal to the architecture, environment or company brand or philosophy. These shapes provide a consistent aesthetic to the rooms. They also help alleviate some of the frost to provide good balance from the semi-transparent film used on the glass.

Installation Process

Architectural Glass Solutions consulted for a while with ArchPoint Implant Dentistry to get the exact details right for the project. That part is very important. A mistake could be disastrous costing our company money and setting back the production schedule, which impedes on the dental office’s ability to do business efficiently here in the Dallas area. They stressed the importance of a nuanced look for the entire glass entry, observatory and operating rooms at the location. We made sure to get all exact measurements and get the materials on hand quickly to proceed with the installation process. To provide a contemporary look while maintaining privacy for the patient without totally blocking the openness of all the glass installed, the frost film with cut out patterns was the perfect choice. ArchPoint Implant Dental provided us with the decorative look. They sent us pictures that were incorporated into the frost film design. We quickly installed the film and cut the design on to the glass.
