Window Tinting FAQ – Is Window Tinting Film Hard to Clean? – Houston, TX

Window tinting film can be a great way to save money on your energy, block unwanted sun rays, protect your furniture from harmful UV rays, and much more.  But if you don’t use the right window tinting film, it can become a big problem.

Many of our competitors use window tinting films that are sensitive to certain cleaning products, which can cause them to bubble and peel.  This can make cleaning more difficult.  Many of our window films should be cleaned with residential ammonia-based glass cleaners, instead of a water solution, due to some adhesive systems.  Our window tinting films can be cleaned more easily, and more effectively, using ammonia-based glass cleaner, which is safe to use with our films.

Another way that our films make it easy to clean is they are scratch resistant.  With less dings and scratches, your windows will be easy to clean every time.

We live in the sunbelt state, and it gets really hot, and then cools off significantly at night.  This temperature change can cause a ballooning effect that can cause the window tinting adhesive to fail in interior window tinting products.

If you use the right window tint and adhesive, it will be easy to clean your windows.  If you buy an inferior product, you can expect that it will not last as long, and can be difficult to clean.
