Signage Education: An Introduction to Partial Vehicle Wraps and Decals

Posted in: Industry News

An economical alternative to a full vehicle wrap is a partial one. A partial wrap integrates the color of the vehicle into the design of the wrap. With the partial wrap, anywhere from 1/4 to 3/4 of the vehicle is wrapped, with spot graphics and/or decals strategically placed to finalize your marketing message and design. A properly designed and installed partial wrap can be just as impactful and effective as a full wrap, at a fraction of the cost!Just like full vehicle wraps, partial wraps are made by printing your image on special high-performance, adhesive-backed vinyl which is then sealed with a protective UV laminate film. This ensures your vehicle wrap will last and protects your investment. Window lettering and logos from cut vinyl can also be added to your partial wrap. Expert installers then apply the material to your car, carefully stretching and placing it in all the proper grooves and contours.

Another alternative to full or even partial vehicle wraps would be vinyl decals, magnetic signs, bumper stickers and window decals to convey your company logo, contact information and advertising message at a economical price. Our clients find that advertising on cars using these methods is still effective, without having to do a full or partial car wrap.

At SignWorks, we use only the highest quality vehicle wrap materials on the market – top quality 3M and Avery print media, vinyl and laminates, and top-of-the line printing on our Roland VersaCAMM VP-540.

Our vehicle wrap installer is Feller’s certified and has several years of experience. His client list includes many of the Bay Area’s mass transit providers so you can rest assured that we will expertly apply your wrap to your car, truck, boat, or aircraft in the professional manner you deserve.
