Metal Letter Choices & Options

Posted in: Industry News

Metal lettering is popular and is always in style. It conveys professionalism and prosperity and comes in a variety of fonts and finishes. They can include shapes and logos, as well as the letters spelling out your company name and/or tag line. The four categories of letter choices are:

Cast Metal Letters: These letters are created in a mold and are three dimensional. They afford a sense of depth and convey a prominent professional tone. Finishes include oxidized, anodized, aluminum and polished. In fact, you will often see cast bronze or aluminum lettering on the outside of professional buildings and banks.

Flat Cut Metal Letters: These lettering options include steel, copper, brass, bronze and aluminum. Unique shapes can be fashioned using a custom art file hence you are not limited by a set template. They come in a variety of thicknesses that are appropriate for outdoor as well as indoor use.

Metal Laminate Acrylic Letters: The metal laminate is mounted to acrylic (or a sign foam base) so that the surface appears to be metal. These light weight letters are perfect for indoors and can even be fabricated to withstand the exterior elements. This choice works well if you are operating with a limited budget.

Metal Channel Letters: 3D metal channel letters convey quality and craftsmanship. They look amazing in or outdoors. And, when made from stainless steel or aluminum they are a long lasting rust free alternative. Their creative potential is extraordinary!
