SignWorks is proud to have been selected by Shimmick Construction, General Contractor for the San Francisco Muni Cable Car project to provide five project identification signs for the project. These four foot by 7 foot plywood signs, each mounted between two upright posts, will be erected at various locations on site during the construction phase of this project.Project identification signs are generally used to identify a project, the agency’s involved, the funding source and the associated ballot measure that made the project possible. You see them all the time on highways and construction sites where tax payer funding is used to rehabilitate a section of roadway or revitalize, renovate or upgrade a building that is either no longer in compliance based on changes in local building codes, or is in a state of disrepair. Usually such building renovation work will require changes to interior/exterior ADA and evacuation map signage.

If you are a developer working on capital projects in the greater Bay Area, contact SignWorks at (510) 357-2000 for your government renovation construction projects including project identification, ADA and evacuation map signage.
