Oakland, CA – Divine Mercy Catholic Church Gets New Aluminum Directional Signs

Posted in: Industry News

SignWorks  just completed a fabrication project for Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Oakland.  They needed three aluminum signs, 24” wide by 18” tall to help guide parishioners and passersby to their church.  It seems the entrance was easy to miss and though we are unsure what happened to the previous directional signs, our client thought that the addition of a bright red arrow would make the sign more eye catching.  This size of aluminum sign blank is also used to create parking and property restriction signage.

Divine Mercy Parish was formed in 2001 when two catholic churches, St. Lawrence O’Toole and St. Pascal merged.  Though the two campuses remain one on High Street and the other on Dorisa Avenue in Oakland.

SignWorks followed its standard practice of generating an art proof and the client’s revision in the sizing of the lettering, were made during this process.  Once approved, the text, made of cut vinyl lettering, were cut and weeded then mounted to the sign blank as shown in the picture.

SignWorks is a go to source for custom aluminum signs of all types and we welcome orders for property restriction, directional and parking signs of various sizes.  We use local suppliers to source both our aluminum sheeting and sign blanks.  If you are in the market for custom aluminum signs just give us a call at (510) 357-2000.   We will help you develop the text, font and sizing to ensure the sign is legible!  And, we have the expertise needed to guide you as you sort through options, including installing the signs at your facility!   For more information about SignWorks just visit our website to view our project photos and blog posts.  We look forward to working with you.
