San Leandro, CA – A 2nd Utility Box Wrap For Our Out Of State Client

SignWorks previously worked with Interstate Image  on a utility box wrap for their client but due to a recent spell of cold and rainy weather we had been unable to complete the 2^nd utility box wrap.  That changed last week when the weather cleared and the wind died down.  Mother Nature is always a factor when it comes to wraps as vinyl does not perform well if the temperature is too cold.  The fact that the vinyl is mounting to a metal surface which takes longer to warm up, even on a sunny day, adds another wrinkle in installation scheduling.  Our installers always use a tool to get a temperature reading from metal surfaces before proceeding with the installation.

Just like with the previous utility box wrap, Interstate Image, had sent us the wrap vinyl which was preprinted printed, along with an installation template.  Because we are an experienced and sought after wrap installation company we periodically get requests for installation work from out of state sign companies like Interstate.  The communication and scheduling aspects must be well managed so that everyone remains informed and realistic expectations are set early on.
