Hayward, CA – Snackoo Dimensional Logo/Lobby Entry Sign

SignWorks has designed, fabricated and installed many dimensional lobby signs.  We have a wealth of experience doing them, so when we were contacted by Hayward based Snackoo we were happy to help.  The company wanted their name (pictured) in their selected corporate colors displayed on the lobby entry wall.  They chose ½” flat cut acrylic letters that are approximately 10” tall and we chose to use our trusted supplier, Gemini, to produce them.  Gemini is the leading wholesaler of dimensional letters and plaques in the country because of the quality of their products and lifetime warranty they carry.

The CEO of Snackoo founded her company based on her love of snacks.  The company sources unique snack foods from around the world, especially Asia.  They hand pick the snacks and also offer customers the option of a Snackoo monthly box delivery.  This consists of assorted international snacks delivered to the customer’s door.

Like Snackoo, many company’s want to create a welcoming environment for customers and employees and they typically do so by adding a dimensional lobby sign using letters and logos that are anywhere from ¼” to 1” thick, depending on the size of the wall space.  Sometimes the letters are applied to a backer, often made of clear or frosted acrylic, which is then mounted to the wall using metal stand-offs.  The backer is a great idea in that it makes building maintenance tasks, like future painting, that much easier.  Painting and masking off a dimensional sign directly mounted to a wall can be problematic.

And, lettering and logo choices are many.  The choices include flat cut acrylic, a variety of metals, aluminum, bronze, brass and stainless steel in many finishes, or formed plastic.  There are also metal laminates that are mounted to either foam or acrylic.  Plaques, in a variety of finishes, are also another option.
