Los Angeles, CA – Color Matched ADA Signs for CalVet Facility

We are happy to report that we just completed a large project for the California Department of Veterans Affairs in Los Angeles, California involving interior Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) signs, along with sealants and adhesive tape.  We’re happy to report that the communication flow between our two entities was great and the effect made for a process flow that was almost flawless!  It has meant forgoing our traditional 50% deposit, but thankfully the purchase order has been signed off and approved for payment.

Our experience was the opposite of what is thought to be typical of a large government agency.  The agency was neither slow nor unresponsive.  The project involved varying sizes of interior color matched Braille beaded signs ranging in size from 8” wide and 3” tall to 7” wide and 15” tall and in quantities ranging from one to 10.  There were a variety of configurations some with windows and pull tabs and others blank.  We also supplied two sets of 1” tall dimensional letters and numerical characters, along with specialty adhesive and sealant.  We had to start by obtaining a sample sign so that the color palette could be matched.  The agency wanted to be sure that the new signs would match the existing ones exactly and as pictured!

We are delighted that the smoothness of the interactions from the start, translated directly to the project itself.  The department decided to use their own maintenance department to install the signs.
