A sparkling new children’s playground like Hop N Play calls for a sparkling new halo lit sign and SignWorks, Inc., Hayward CA was happy to provide one. The indoor playground at the Solano Town Center in Fairfield, CA is the second Hop N Play location; the first one opened last year at the Shops at Tanforan in San Bruno. Hop N Play offers an opportunity for young children to play, learn and socialize. Parents can accompany their children during mall hours, schedule a party or drop them off for a Friday Date Night supervised play experience.

Halo lit signs, also known as backlit signs, offer a touch of class for malls and other high traffic locations. Hop N Play’s project began with a site survey to confirm measurements and details for mounting the halo lit sign to the fascia. After obtaining the mall’s detailed sign requirements, SignWorks used the customer’s logo artwork to custom design the 34-inch high by 72-inch wide sign.  The frontal sign pictured above is from their Tanforan location as the new store hasn’t opened yet.

The design was subject to a rigorous review process by the customer, mall officials and the City of Fairfield before being approved for production. The halo lit sign was constructed of a .125-inch thick face with standard vinyl overlays, 3-inch deep by .063-inch thick aluminum returns, a Lexan transparent plastic back and threaded mounting studs. A remote power supply with switches, a mounting pattern and wiring diagram was included.
