Window Graphics for Lang Antiques in San Francisco!

When Lang Antiques first approached us about the need to enhance their window graphics to add store hours, they wanted to be sure we could supply a metallic bronze and that we could match their custom font, Mrs. Eaves Roman.  As a first step when sent them a metallic color sample book filled with sample swatches so they could get a visual of what the material would look like.  They chose an Avery high performance cast vinyl in Antique Bronze.

Lang Antiques & Estate Jewelry has been part of San Francisco’s Union Square shopping landscape since 1969.  They offer the largest collection of vintage engagement rings and antique jewelry under one roof. They have a staff of highly trained gemologists, historians, fine art photographers and sales personnel.

Our designer laid out the text and address so that the client could review and approve the content.  We then produced the lettering using our Graphtec plotter.  After weeding the vinyl we applied transfer tape which allows us to transport the vinyl to the location and adhere it to its permanent surface.  As you can see from the pictures above, the installation in San Francisco was part of the undertaking.

There are a host of new vinyl products out there including color changing vinyl, a host of metallic vinyl that includes mirror like chrome, environmentally friendly non PVC vinyl, iridescent, carbon fiber, velvet, etc.  Not to mention a variety of wood grains and camouflage patterns!  And, there are specialty vinyl products designed specifically for walls and floors.
