Project Update |Cydney Ortzow Painting Brands Their New Van!

We are thrilled to report that our client’s business is booming. This translates into the purchase of a new vehicle which we were happy to apply graphics to! Cydney’s new van was brought to us clean and free of any wax, which is essential so that the vinyl material can adhere properly to the surface of the vehicle. Though we can’t take credit for the design, the fact that we have the art on file, means that production is a simple matter of scaling the vector art to fit the new dimensions and printing the graphics on our Roland wide format printer.

With newly painted vehicles we recommend that the client let the chemicals in the paint out gas for a period of 90 days to ensure that the vinyl will bound correctly to the surface. We recommend making sure that the surface is clean as this helps to ensure a good bond. Typically, we will wipe down the area where the graphics are being applied with rubbing alcohol to make sure that the surface is free of dirt or residue.
