Project Update |Baystreet Retail Cart Blade Signs

Posted in: Industry News

_________________________________________________________________________________________

We often work with local commercial property management companies to provide signage and updates to their retail clients, and Madison Marquette is a frequent customer. Recently, three new Bay Street retailers needed blade signs for the carts that you see along the roadway as you browse the mall area. The signs are double faced lettered aluminum panels that slide into a Plexiglas holder on the right and left side of the carts. They project out from the perimeter of the cart, hence the term “blade sign.” Though the cart signs are often simple cut vinyl lettered signs, of late the clients have wanted more of a “branded” look, meaning that the signs reflect their corporate design, color schemes, and unique font selections. These individualized branded signs, often have specialized design components, given that artwork may not be available in a format that allows us to scale the images to a larger surface area of the cart signs.

Our past work has included cart signs for both Bayfair and Baystreet malls. The new cart vendors Covered, Virgin Mobile and iPhone REPAIR SQUAD are welcome additions to the thriving Baystreet Mall. If you are retailer looking to emulate your corporate branding on a larger surface area or exterior, please give SignWorks a call at 510-357-2000 or send an email to info@signworks.us.com and we can work with you to design or fabricate signage for your new locations.
