Ensure you use the best method for your project

If you’re looking to have your logo or design imprinted on a shirt, poster or other material, you’ll likely choose between screen or digital printing.

While both options have their advantages, there is usually a clear cut favorite for a given project and we can help break down the differences between these two popular print options.

Our store is located in the Bay Area and we are proud to serve the people of Milpitas and the surrounding areas. We do much more than just printing, and we’re proud to be the area’s top provider for promotional materials, signs, large-scale printing and more.

We have the latest machinery with the capability of printing digitally or screen printing products with a fast turnaround. Because we have years of experience in either field, we can print mass quantities if needed.

Screen printing is a time-tested method which dates back to before computers were able to aid in the print process. While we do use advances in tech to help us screen print automatically now, the process is largely the same.

Screens, or stencils, are made for each color in a design and then are applied, one by one, to the product to be printed on until the final product shows through.

This method is best for designs with vibrant colors and it requires special ink to ensure a long-lasting print on t-shirts, posters, coffee mugs, backpacks and more.

Using our highly efficient screen printing machine, we can create screens using computer files and print very quickly. The most common items we screen print are t-shirts, and we would love to partner with you for your next shirt printing job.

Digital printing, as the name implies, uses computers to print straight on to your product. In this process, much like printing on a piece of paper, ink is applied directly from a printer onto your product.

While digital printing won’t show up as bright as screen printing will, it allows for a much greater level of detail in the final product because the computer generates an image rather than screens having to be made and put together to form the final image.

An advantage of digital printing over screen printing is the minimum order amount. Since a screen has to be created for every color in a design, it’s hard to justify several screens for just one or two prints. But with a digital print, you just upload a file and let the printer get to work.

If you have an event or project coming up and you need something imprinted but aren’t sure if screen or digital printing would be the best option, we would be happy to work with you and help you make the best decision.

Our team of print experts and graphic designers can even help your vision become a reality by offering professional design service for any clients.

Whether it’s 1,000 custom shirts for a large event or one perfect personalized coffee mug for a birthday present, our team is here to help!
